The Inspiration

Inspired by the familiar charm of the Kueh Dadar, this design gives a beloved local snack a modern interpretation. The design’s long, softly rounded shape takes its cue from the delicate pandan crepe, while its curved, folded sides echo the gentle wrapping of the kueh around its coconut filling.

The layered folds bring a sense of softness and movement to the design, creating a silhouette that feels both sculptural and easy-going. Lightweight and comfortable to carry, it is a thoughtful everyday piece that brings a little touch of heritage into the present.
